Meet the Volkswagen Amarok! Recently revealed and hyped up for US production. (nothing confirmed yet...) Autoblog says it's to compete with General Motors, to clash up against the Colorado and the GMC Canyon. This machine is up to face against more, the lighter pickup is disappearing in the US and VW see's an opportunity to capitalize. After all the Ford Ranger has been discontinued and the Tacoma has become a full size in high demand. This isn't VW's first time in the truck ring, do you remember the 1980 VW Rabbit pickup with a bed? Looking similar to the Subaru Brat!?
