Mercedes and Pebble Smart Watch
MERCEDES TEAMS UP WITH PEBBLE TECHNOLOGIES FOR SMART WATCH
Mercedes deals out some brand-casting with a Digital Drive Style App on Pebble Smart Watch, which gives users information about their car, on their wrist.
Mercedes Benz has been in Silicon Valley for over twenty years now. This was all in efforts to be as close to the leading technological innovators as possible. So far we haven't seen much from this investment, but Mercedes has teamed up with Smart Watch Producer Pebble Technologies to build the ultimate app.
The Mercedes Digital Drive Style Application lets you interact with your car from, well, a far. The watch will tell you what your fuel level is, whether or not your doors are locked or even the location of your car. Pretty cool, but then again as said by other critics, it doesn't already do anything a smart phone can't already do. Maybe it's just easier to turn your wrist than to dive into a pocket?

10 Best, and Most Affordable Cars for Winter 2013
Best, and Most Affordable cars for winter 2013
Winter can be cold, brutal and downright dirty. The last thing any driver wants, especially for the holidays is to be stuck on the side of the road; in the snow, in freezing temperatures.
Utah Car Cents has put together a list of the top 10 best cars for winter.
2013 Subaru Impreza
10.) The Subaru Impreza, rated at 36/27 MPG this little AWD monster will get you anywhere you want to go within the city limits and beyond. This may not be a canyon cruiser but it sure makes one great winter ready grocery getter.
2013 Toyota Sienna
9.) Ranking in up to 25 MPG's and 19'' Alloy wheels, this original swagger wagon has been known to pull it's own weight when it comes to old man winter. This is one of the only mini-vans in the market with the ability to transfer power between all four wheels.
2013 Ford Fusion
8.) Believe it or not, this Aston Martin look-a-like from Ford can carve its own tracks when it's powered by a AWD chassis and 2.0 Liter Eco Boost Engine. Not to mention the interior has been completely revamped as well. The look is aggressive and it helps a mediocre individual feel a bit like James Bond with the Aston style front end.
2013 Acura MDX
7.) This car may be a little more on the higher end of the spectrum were going for, but with a rated 28 MPG 290hp AWD package, there couldn't be too many people out there that wouldn't be satisfied with its delivery. The MDX delivers in Rain or snow, either way you'll get there in style.
2013 Chevrolet Tahoe
6.) With 335 lb/ft Torque, Four Wheel Drive and room for the whole family plus some extra cargo. The Tahoe's ability to transport up to 9 people and cover almost any terrain. The Tahoe is your best bet for moving a large group from point A to point B.
2013 Nissan Pathfinder
5.) Standing in at number five is the new 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. Packing a lockable 4WD system and seating a crew of 7, the newly redesigned pathfinder makes for a decent transport for the winter season.
2014 Crosstrek and Crosstrek Hyrbid
4.) Subaru has released a new Hybrid Crosstrek that packs a punch in all situations. They invited journalists to test the Hybrid's strength against the rocky and cold terrain of Iceland. With a combined 31MPG and 9 inches of ground clearance, this little tank is ready for whatever terrain and winter snow storm you might find yourself in.
2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee
3.) It has the Ground clearance, the 4WD and the Jeep name to back it up. The Grand Cherokee toughs out the snow like a champ and comes with an optional heated steering wheel and seats. No-one will be complaining inside the cabin during a trip through winter wonderland.
2014 Subaru Forester
2.) Arriving early in 2013 is the Motortrend's SUV of the year, the 2014 Subaru Forester. Sporting an unbelievable symmetrical AWD system, and passing gas stations with a whopping 32MPG highway. the Forester SUV would be a great choice for any driver who lives in harsh weather conditions.
2013 Subaru Outback
1.) This machine has been battling the elements for over 20 years. Many of the originals are still on the road today. The outback has been engineered to handle all the elements mother earth decides to throw at it. It's AWD system from Subaru is only comparable to the Audi, yes, that right, the Quattro.
See for yourself.

The 2014 Grand Cherokee... Ugly ?
The New Jeep Grand Cherokee
The new Cherokee may be winning the ugliest vehicle award for 2014. But, is credit due where credit is earned ? Now before you completely disagree with that statement and go off on how hideous the new grille, or how ridiculous the front end may be with three headlights... err, fog lights, wait, no they're headlights with two fog lights, or is it two fog-lights and one set of headlights?
Ok, i'll just get to the point. Jeep should at least be credited for attempting to attack a new concept in design for the automotive industry. Every year we see new models and new concepts revealed at the L.A. Autoshow, but how often can we say that we saw a model arrive on showroom floors that actually, somewhat resembled the original concept ? Now I know the picture below is a coupe, but from the styling and slim cut headlights, you get the picture right? For that, and that only I will have to say that the new Cherokee has some potential and deserves a little bit credit. Even though the original grille on the concept was ten times better than the actual factory rendition.
And...
Perhaps the styling could be a little more aggressive, as from this angle it looks like the hood took a 'Hulk Smash'on both sides. Either way, kudos to Jeep for trying.
What do you think?
Can't wait for the new 2015 model? No pun intended.

Toyota + BMW = SUPRA ?
Here we go again...
Rumors are surfacing about a launch at the 2014 Detroit Autoshow, We learned earlier in the year that BMW and Toyota had teamed up to build a new sports car, whether it would be a hybrid or a 400hp contender to the Acura NSX we know not.
But we do know that Toyota has been putting the tuner-cap on lately with other team ups, like the BRZ / Scion FRS Sport roadster and joint venture with Subaru.
Some are even wondering if the new Supra will look a lot like the new Lexus LFA. The designs could be similar. In fact, If a Supra is revealed I wouldn't be surprised to see a look-a-like.
But for right now, we are going to take this news as nothing solid. Supra rumors have been sprouting everywhere since the first of the year and we, the fans are starting to get anxious and tired of ghost leads. This very same thing happened for the Nissan GT-R years back, but then a monster was revealed...
We will be sure to keep you up to date on the team up and any other fortunes it may bring.

Buy a New 2014 Stingray and Help Assemble the Motor Yourself
GM to be first Automotive Manufacturer to offer a spot on the production line for customers to help build their own vehicle.
General Motors knows that they are not attracting new, younger aged buyers for their new Stingray and traditional Corvettes. They are having to compete with other manufacturers such as Porsche and Nissan for the younger Generations. Corvette owners tend to be 10 years older than buyers of a similar priced Porsche.
The new Stingray, has been given more aggressive looks to attract younger gen buyers and GM worked hard to include a mean performance package, and new tech to the model. Younger people are more fascinated for the European Exotics and the Japanese Tuners. Whether it is the turbo-boost engines or the aggressive curves that could be attracting them, no one knows. But GM does know that they can offer a whole new experience to their buyers.
As of January 1st 2014 people will be able to tour the General Motors factory again. Something we haven't seen since the bailout.
Not only will individuals be able to tour the factory again, but new Stingray owners will be able to take a trip to the factory production line, sit down with a GM powertrain employee and help build the engine to their very own car.
You can't get a better hands on experience with any other auto manufacturer. The New car will be customizable to the date of purchase and owners will be able to take part in the assembly of their own car.
To do this, new owners will be expected to drop up to 52,000.00 for their Stingray and then another 5-large (5,000.00) to help with its production. At the very end of their visit they will tour the Corvette Museum and receive a very special, custom plaque for their new ride.
